In today's Gospel, Jesus tells the parable of the tenants entrusted with the vineyard. The vineyard does not belong to them. It has been placed in their care, and they are expected to produce fruit.

The parable reminds us that everything we have ultimately comes from God. Our lives, our faith, our families, our talents, and our opportunities are gifts entrusted to us for a purpose. The Lord asks us to use these gifts not only for ourselves, but for the good of others and the building up of His Kingdom.

The fruit God seeks is not measured by worldly success. Rather, it is found in lives marked by faith, kindness, generosity, patience, compassion, and service. These are the signs that Christ is truly at work within us.

As we move further into the fall, it is a good time to reflect on the fruits our lives are producing. Are our words bringing encouragement? Are our actions reflecting Christ? Are we helping others draw closer to God?

The saints remind us that holiness often grows in simple and hidden ways. A life of prayer, kindness, generosity, and faithfulness may not attract attention, but these are the fruits that endure and help build God's Kingdom.

This week, let us ask the Lord to show us one way we can use our gifts more fully for the good of others. May our lives bear fruit that brings glory to God and blessings to those around us.
