6th Sunday of Easter
“Whoever loves me will keep my word… and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him.” – John 14:23
Faith Direct is a safe, secure way of online giving! Please follow the link above to learn more.
In addition to the regular Offertory, there is an option for Restricted Donations so that all of your gift remains at SMT.
CHURCH ENVELOPES - Email Request
If you prefer using envelopes, you can request them by sending an email to the Rectory. If you want your gift to remain fully at SMT, simply mark it "Restricted to SMT."
Faithful Catholics are expected to give to the Lord with a grateful heart. The amount is meant to be a sacrifice -- not what is convenient or easy.
For example, for those who are working, a minimum amount is one hour’s household pay per week in support of the ongoing mission of the parish.
If you want your gift to remain fully at SMT, use the "Restricted Gift" option for online giving through Faith Direct or mark your gift "Restricted to SMT." The PINK envelope in the Church is an easy way of marking your gift "Restricted to SMT."
For more significant giving - for maintenance & repairs, capital improvements, and special projects - Gifts from an IRA and Gifts of Stock have significant tax advantages. Please see the links below for more information and forms.
Your faithful support of our parish is very much appreciated. Please prayerfully remember our church and help strengthen our presence so that we may faithfully serve our community.
May God’s blessings be with you!
Fr. Paul
BENEFITS OF AN IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER
If you are 70 ½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift directly from your IRA account to SMT. This law allows you to transfer any amount up to $100,000 annually directly to a qualified charitable organization without paying income tax on the distribution. The transfer does not generate taxable income or a tax deduction, so you benefit even if you do not itemize your tax deductions. Your gift can satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution and is not subject to the deduction limits on charitable gifts.
The form below can be used to begin the transfer.
